Katelyn Rowland
Katelyn Rowland plays for the NC Courage of the NWSL – but spends her free time sharing her passion for goalkeeping with youth players. Coaching with Focus Goalkeeping since 2019, Katelyn is also a member of the NCFC Youth Goalkeeping staff.
Before moving down to NC to play for the Courage, Rowland previously played for two other NWSL clubs – FC Kansas City and the Western New York Flash. She is a three-time NWSL Champion & in 2017 was named to the league’s Second Best XI.
Katelyn has represented the United States on various youth national teams including the under-20 and under-23 teams. Prior to her pro career, Katelyn played all four years at UCLA from 2011-2014 where she set NCAA records for career shutouts (55) and single-season shutouts (19). She was part of the 2013 NCAA National Championship Team her junior year at UCLA after posting 15 shutouts that year.
